Virbac MAMIPROTEC (cefoperazone) is an intramammary suspension specifically formulated for the treatment of clinical mastitis in lactating cattle and buffalo.

INDICATIONS

• Target Species: Lactating cattle (dairy cows) and buffalo.
• Clinical Mastitis Treatment: Formulated specifically to treat active, symptomatic bacterial infections of the mammary gland during the lactation phase.
• Bacterial Pathogen Control: Utilizes its broad-spectrum active ingredient, Cefoperazone Sodium (250 mg), to treat infections and protect fragile mammary tissue from bacterial damage.
• Symptom Reduction: Aids in reducing the localized inflammation, swelling, and physical tissue changes in the udder caused by the infection.
• Milk Quality Recovery: Helps restore normal milk quality and minimize total production losses by rapidly clearing the causative bacteria from the affected quarter.

ADMINISTRATION

The typical therapeutic course involves a single-dose administration of one 10 ml pre-filled syringe per affected udder quarter, applied immediately after the quarter has been completely milked out.
